Elizabeth Grace, RN, is a Nurse Manger and Clinical Trials Research Coordinator for the Division of Rheumatology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. In this role, she serves as a nurse and patient educator as well as a consultant in physician-office-infusion room set-up, billing, and education for office and nursing staff. Elizabeth is actively involved in professional and patient education. She currently speaks for the Arthritis Foundation. In the area of professional education, Elizabeth designs continuing education courses for nurses and other healthcare professionals interested in rheumatology. She is a national speaker and serves on a nursing advisory committee.
Prior to her work at Thomas Jefferson University, Elizabeth was charge nurse for the Telemetry Unit and Team Leader for the Medical Surgical Unit at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia. She has also served as a Research Laboratory Technician, specializing in renal research, at Albert Einstein Medical Center.
Elizabeth received her degree from Abington Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Abington, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals and the Infusion Nursing Society. Elizabeth’s research interests include rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, scleroderma, and lupus.
